for the Sega genesis is another game I owned. It might have been one of the first games to come out for the console.
I remember I got it as a Christmas present. I don’t remember if I played it much. I am sure it was fun to play. I was not good at fielding. Oh, that reminds me of another baseball game I had for the console.
RBI baseball.I will write about that in my next blog post. I don’t remember much about Tommy Lasorda baseball.
and milk. And I dumped a lot of the cereal on the Sega Genesis. Some of the cereal and milk got in the video game cartridge slot. I cleaned up the cereal and milk. The video game console still worked. I am sure it was a relief.
I am thinking about what other video games I had for the console. Oh, I remember one. I will write about it in the next blog post.
the Traxxas Hawk. I painted the body blue. I also took apart the transmitter. I don’t think that was a smart decision. My past is filled with decisions that were not smart at the time and they are not smart looking back at them.
I also put a to flatbed body on the Hawk. I used cardboard for the bed. Why did I do that? I have no idea. I also got an electronic speed controller for the hawk. And took apart the mechanical speed controller that came with the hawk. Who knows why I did that? Your guess is as good as mine.
I just had to have an electronic speed controller. I did not drive the Hawk much so why get an expensive electronic speed controller. If I don’t drive it it does not even need a mechanical speed controller.
I bought the Hawk as a ready to run vehicle. I did not have to put it together. I got a used battery for it. I had a wheel type transmitter with a trigger for the throttle.
I don’t think the Hawk ran right after I took apart the controller. Later the electric engine got rust on it. I never knew how to maintain my RC cars.
I knew nothing about them other then the drive when you put batteries in the transmitter and the car.
OH, the transmitter took 8 AA batteries. OR was it AAA. And the used battery I got for the Hawk was a NiCad. I may have over changed the batter or changed the batter up when it was to hot.
I had no clue about RC cars back then. I don’t know why I got the hawk. Why was the hornet not good enough. What did I want to buy instead of the Traxxas Hawk.
The Traxxas Hawk looked impressive and was fun to drive for the few times I remember driving it. RC cars are more fun than real cars to me since they are a lot cheaper to own.
I will not say that I built them well. Because I did not. I would not have one any prizes had I put them in a competition.
I build a blue 1955 for or was it 1953 ford puck up. I also built the general lee. I was a big dukes of Hazzard fan growing up. Even though I did not watch much TV. I also build other pickups and cars.
I had glue, none toxic glue, spray paint. I don’t think I used my brain much when I was younger. I did not want to tax my brain or anything. Because I put most of plastic model kits together and then took them apart. At least that is what I remember.
I was not much of a reader back then either. I thought it would have been cool to scratch build a model kit. I don’t remember scratch building a plastic model kit. Or is it called kit bashing. I think what I mean to write is I wanted to kit bash a model it.
To make the doors open and wheels turn. Some of the model kits doors did open out of the box. But, most of them did not.
Model kit building was fun. Thinking about now I would rather build RC cars, boats, planes, drones, rockets, motorcycles, dragsters, trucks. I want my models to move.
I think I might like RC cars better than real cars. To me it seems like a cheaper hobby than owning real cars. And more fun than using a computer.
RC car. I got it as a kit. And sure I could put it together. At that time I had no patients for anything. So my dad put it together. I don’t understand myself back then at all. Looking back I wonder if I am still the same person. My name is the same but, I don’t act the same.
I had a Nicad battery and a transmitter with two sticks instead of a steering wheel and a throttle lever.
I wanted the lunch box RC van but, the store did not have that. Why could I have not waited. If I would have waited I would have go the lunch box. It was what I wanted. Back then I could not wait so I got whatever the store had. Why?
I did not do much driving once the hornet was together. Oh, I had a battery charger with a timer. It was not a peak charger. I should have learned about RC cars before I bought one.
I knew nothing about RC cars before I got the hornet. Except that batters go in and the car goes.
All I remember doing is driving the car around until the battery was dead. Oh, the transmitter took 8 AA batteries. I always wanted to get a rechargeable batter for the transmitter.
I painted the Hornet green instead of black.
I also thought the grasshopper was cool. I always wanted a grasshopper. I must like the name.
I wish I had drive the Hornet everyday and built a make shift race track. And I could have joined an RC club. Who knows I might be a decent RC car driver by now.
I also owned a soldering iron for to fix things on the RC car. RC cars are fun.
And the transmitter had a battery meter to tell the strength of the batteries in the transmitter.
Also I always wanted a nitro RC. I don’t think I would want one now because of the noise.
football for Sega Genesis. I played it quit a bit. As usual I was not good at the game. All I could do was run the football on offense. I rarely completed a pass on offense. The controls for passing the football were to difficult for me. It was a fun game.
It must have had read NFL teams. Which team I played as I don’t remember. Did I win any games? I don’t remember.
It was called Mike Ditka power football.
Teenage mutant ninja turtles 2 for the Nintendo entertainment system. I was a big fan of teenage mutant ninja turtles. Turtles who are crime fighters what is cooler.
I think that game was a good game. I was not good at playing the game. I don’t remember ever getting past the first level.
I wish I had played the game more so I could have gotten better at it. I did not have a preference for which ninja turtle I played. Or did I?
I am not sure that the internet or computer are the greatest things in the world. I do want to learn how secure computer, and about computer security.
Its interesting to me how hackers hack websites. How do I protect against that? It seems like a fun be able to protect people on the internet.Make the internet safer.
It makes me upset thinking about all the time I have wasted on the internet. I used to read about sports on the internet. I might as well subscribe to a sports magazine or news paper.
I want to use a computer to do something useful or do something else. There is more to life than a computer and the internet. There are so many things to do in life.
And to me computer security seems like a good use of my time on a computer.
Genesis. i had no idea who Mario Lemieux was when I got the game. I did not even know how to pronounce his last name. The game came with a hockey puck. Which I thought was great. I had no idea about hockey when I got the game. I did enjoy playing the game.
i was not good playing the the game. I remember that I enjoyed pushing the opposite team into the boards because of the sound it made. I thought the graphics looked good for a Sega Genesis sports game.
Other than that I don’t remember much about the game. I wish I could remember more about the video games I played. I should have kept a video game diary. i can have a video game diary for all the video games I play from now on. That sounds fun.
in 1994 I got a football game in 1995. I can’t remember the name. It might have been Joe Montana 95. But, I doubt it. I am sure it was similar to Joe Montana 94.
It was another football video game that I was great at not because I was good it was because the computer was so easy to beat. I wish I could remember the name of the game but, I can’t.
