What I did today in blender

Today I worked on the house. I added cloth physics to the flag in the yard of the house. I was intimidated about using the cloth modifier but, it was not that bad. I have not used the cloth modifier that much.

Then it was on to the 14th and final video of the tutorial. Since it would take forever to render in cycles I switched to Evee which rendered the scene quickly. I have about 20 minutes more of the tutorial to watch.

After I finish the tutorial I want to start my own house or building project. I will think about what I want to make.

Retro bowl results 7/30/2022

I played as Atlanta on extreme difficulty.

My first game is vs. Tampa Bay. I got the ball first and scored a touchdown and converted the 2 points. I threw an interception at the end of the 2nd quarter and Tampa scored a touchdown so it 2as 11-8 at the half.

I turned the ball over own downs close to the end of the 3rd quarter so it was 25-8 at the end of the 3rd. I threw another interception. So I lost the game 32-8.

I traded 34 year old 1 and a half star running back vita Harris for a 3rd round draft pick from Las Vegas. I traded 2 star kicker Drew Wagner for a 2nd round draft pick from Las Angles.

With my first pick I drafted 4 star defensive back Marvin Grier. With my 2nd draft pick I drafted Linebacker Amon Leavitt. He is 3 stars. With my 3rd pick I drafted defensive back Myles Stokes. He is 2 and a half stars. With my 4th pick I drafted tight end Ron Morris who is 2 stars. With my 5th pick I drafted 2 star defensive lineman Zak Suh.

I have a one and a half star offense and a 3 and a half star defense. Marvin Grier is my kick returner.

My second game was against Minnesota. I got the ball first and scored a touchdown and missed 2 points. Then Minnesota came back and scored a touchdown but, missed the extra point. The score is 6-6 and the end of the first. At the end of the 2nd quarter I scored a touchdown but, missed the 2 points. I dove with my quarterback instead of running. Oops.

So I scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter and converted the 2 points. I was close enough to kick a field goal but, I do not have a named kicker so I decided to go for it. My tight end just made it to the end zone. And I made the 2 points.

I got running back Kemon Eason in a trade from the New York G for a 3rd round draft pick. He is 3 stars.

Buffalo got the ball first and scored a touchdown. I scored a touchdown but, missed the 2 points. Buffalo scored 3 points. So at the end of the half it was 10-6 Buffalo. At the end of the 3rd quarter I scored a touchdown but, missed 2 points. Buffalo scored a touch down and converted 2 points so the score is 18-12.

I scored a touch down and the score was tied 18-18 going into overtime. Buffalo got 3 points. I got the ball threw an interception. Then buffalo scored. So the final score was 27-18.

My next game was vs. Philadelphia. They got the ball first and scored a touchdown. On my first possession I threw an interception. Towards the end of the 2nd quarter I threw an interception in the end zone. On my next possession my tight end fumbled. The score is 21-0. I scored a touchdown and converted 2 points. I tried and onside kick. It failed. My defense held philly to a field goal. My tight end fumbled again. The final score was 31-8.

My 5th game is against Tampa bay. Tampa got the ball first. My defense stopped them for a punt. Cool. So I got a touch down. I got it on 4th down. I threw to the running back for the 2 point conversion. And Tampa scored to end the 2nd quarter. Its 8-8 at the half. I got the ball first in the 3rd.

I returned the ball past the 50. I could not control my kick returner. I threw an interception in the end zone towards the end of the 3rd quarter. I threw 2 more interceptions and lost the game 29-8.

I need to take care of the ball better. One of theses days I will learn that.

What I did in blender today

The other day in blender I finished adding the textures and got most of the particles done for the house I am working on.

I had problems with weight painting. First I did not notice that I had the weight paint on 0. Then I had problems subdividing the ground plane. So I was not able to weight paint so I deleted the ground plane and sub divided a new plane.

Then I got rid of that plane and went back to the original ground plane. So I was able to get weight paint to work so that I could get the rocks to be where I wanted them. So that is where I left off the other day.

Then I though oh, no I did not back up the blender file so I will have to redo all my work since it was not saved. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. I had backed up the blender file so today I started where I left off.

So I was able to make a particle system for the grass easily. The screen shot shoes what the house looks like.

Working with Material nodes and textures particles are two of my week spots in blender and I think doing the tutorial has made me better in those areas. Below is a screenshot of the house.

Retro bowl results 7/29/2022

Today I played as Jacksonville on extreme.

My first game was against Indianapolis. On my first drive I turned the ball over on downs. I missed 2 field goal attempts. My quarterback fumbled in the red zone. One good thing is that I did not throw an interception.

I resigned 1 and a half star defensive lineman Dee Woods. Then I traded him for a 3rd round pick.

With my first pick I drafted 4 star Linebacker Dalton Lamb.

I traded my 1 and a half star running back K.C. Bynum he is 23 years old for a 3rd round pick in the draft.

With my second pick I drafted With my second pick I drafted 4 star linebacker Cordrea Grigsby. With my 3rd pick I drafted 2 star Defensive lineman Amon-Ra Luke. With my 4th pick I drafted Defensive back Daniel Cisco. With my 4th pick I drafted 3 and a half star Wide receiver Bruce Bitonio.

I have a 1 and a half star offense and a 3 star defense. I made Bruce Bitonio as my kick returner.

My second game is against Houston. On my first drive I turned the ball over on downs. I threw an interception in the red zone towards the end of the first half. The score at halftime is 14-0. I turned the ball over on downs but, my defense forced Houston into a punt. I scored a touchdown but, missed the 2 point conversion. Houston scored a field goal. On the last play of the game I threw an interception.

My third game was against Denver. I threw an interception on my first drive. I threw an interception on my 2nd drive. The score was 14-0 Denver after the first quarter. Towards the end of the 2nd quarter I scored a touchdown and converted the 2 point conversion. I scored another touchdown and made the 2 point conversion. And on the last play of the game I made a 41 yard field goal.

My 4th game was against Atlanta. They got the ball first and scored a touchdown. On my first drive I scored a touchdown and converted a 2 point conversion. At the end of the 2nd half I scored a touchdown and converted the 2 points. So the score was 16-15 at halftime.

To start off the 3rd quarter Daniel cisco returned the ball to almost the 4 yard line. I could not control him but, he made a great kickoff return. Cool. On that drive I scored a touchdown and converted the 2 points. So at the end of the 3rd quarter its 24-15.

So Atlanta scored another touchdown but, missed the extra point. Then I ran out the clock with my quarterback. So I won without a name running back.

I learned about replit from

a linked learning class I am working through called python for non-programmers. I had searched for a website where I could write python but, I could not find one to my liking.

Probably because I am not that good at using a search engine. I was glad to learn about replit. In addition to python I can also use other programming languages including lua and love2d.

Retro bowl results 7/27/2022

Today I played as Atlanta on Extreme difficulty.

My first game was vs. Carolina. I threw 2 interceptions in the 1st quarter. I scored a touchdown and missed the 2 point conversion so the score at halftime was 14-6. Carolina got the kickoff for the second half. They scored a touch down. On my next drive I turned the ball over on downs. I scored a field goal. And tried a onside kick. I did not recover it so I lost the game 28-9.

I resigned my defensive lineman Teven Warner. With my first pick I drafted 4 star defensive lineman Tyquan Rochell. My second pick was defensive back Denzel Sutton. He is 3 and a half stars.

I traded my 1 star 31 year old running back Montrel Berrios for a 3rd round draft pick.

With my 3rd pick I drafted 1 and a half star Pat Bassey. With my fourth round pick I drafted 1 and a half star linebacker Eno Rosas.

So I have a 1 and a half star offense and a 3 star defense. I made Tyquan Rochell my kick returner.

My next game was against Pittsburgh. I threw an intersection at the end of the first half so the score was 7-0 Pittsburgh. I got the ball first in the second quarter and threw an interception. Then my defense recovered a fumble. So when I got the ball I ran with the quarterback. I ran in for a touchdown with about 30 seconds left. Then I threw to the tight end for the 2 point conversion so I won the game 8-7. So I can win a game as long as I don’t throw the ball.

I got running back Francis Brown who is half a star.

My next game was against Carolina. They got the ball first. My defense stopped them on their first drive for a punt. On my first drive I was trying to throw to the tight end and threw an interception. I ran in a touchdown and then threw an interception on the 2 point conversion. I got the ball first in the second half. I scored a touchdown and rain the quarterback in for a 2 point conversion. The score is 14-7. My defense held Carolina to a field goal. So the score was 14-10.

I thought I was in the drivers seat until I threw an interception. Touchdown for Carolina. So I though its only 17-14 so I have a chance. Then I threw another interception. Touchdown for Carolina.

I have to stop throwing interceptions or maybe stop throwing the ball.

Retro bowl results 7/26/2022

Today I played as Miami on extreme difficulty. I believe its the first time I have played as Miami.

My first game was against New York J. New York J first drive ended in a field goal. On my first drive I turned it over on downs. Then New York J scored a touch down. On my next drive I scored a touch down and missed the 2 point conversion.

I threw an interception and then New York J scored a touchdown. I scored another touchdown missed the 2 point conversion. I lost the game 24-12.

I traded 1 and a half star defensive lineman Jared Dalman for a 3rd round draft pick. With my first pick I drafted 4 star linebacker Marquis Jerry. With my second pick I drafted 4 star defensive lineman Alohi Shatley. With my third pick I drafted Aviante pocic. He is 1 and a half stars With my 4th pick I drafted defensive back Marvell Beavers. He is 1 star.

I have a 1 and a half star offense and a 2 and a half star defense.

My next game was vs. Washington. On my first drive I got a rushing touch down and threw to my tight end for the 2 point conversion. I threw 2 interceptions. Trying to force the ball to my tight end. I scored a touchdown and recovered the onside kick. I was close to the red zone and I pressed kick instead of running a play. I missed the field goal. I lost 23-16.

My next game was against New York G. I punted on my first drive. My defense game up a touchdown. I threw an interception on my next drive. My defense game up another touchdown but, New York G missed the field goal. I mean the extra point. I threw another interception but, my defense stopped them on the 2 point conversion.

In the 3rd quarter I threw another interception and the player returned it for a touchdown. I threw another interception and another touchdown. I converted the 2 point conversion. The final score was 40-14.

Not a good retro bowl day today. I need to take better care of the ball.

Retro bowl results 7/25/2022

Today I played as Houston on extreme difficulty.

My first game was against Indianapolis I turned the ball over own downs on my first drive. I thought oh, no. So Indianapolis scored a touchdown and missed the extra point. I came back and scored a touch down and converted 2 points. Then Indianapolis went down the field and tried a field goal and missed.

In the second half indy scored a field goal. Or was that in the first half. Anyway my defense made one stop in the game. I scored a touchdown and converted 2 points. With about 30 second on the clock indy did not have enough time to score so I won the game.

That’s a 3 game winning streak for me.

I resigned my defensive lineman 25 year old 1 star Avonte Sharpe for a 3rd round pick in the draft. I drafted 4 star linebacker Matt Tart with my first pick. I drafted 3 and a half star defensive lineman Toa Goldman with my second pick. With my third pick I drafted 1 and a half star Tight end Ja’wuan Barner. With my 4th pick I drafted 2 star defensive back Ronnie Kirven.

I have a 1 and a half star offense and a 2 and a half star defense. I made defense back Ronnie Kirven my kick returner.

For my second game I played New York G. I lost 27-6. I turned the ball over on downs. I threw 2 interceptions. Though one of the interceptions was on the last play of the game so it didn’t mean much. My winning streak is over.

I got 2 star wide receiver Leshaun Martin from Arizona in a trade for a 3rd round pick.

My fourth game was against Cleveland. I lost 47-8. I threw 4 interceptions. My defense did not make any stops. 2 of the interceptions were at the end of the 2nd quarter. One was close to the end of the game. Not my best game

My Fourth game was against New York J. I threw an interception at the end of the 1st quarter. My defense had 2 stops. One for a missed field goal and one for a punt. I was driving for a score when I threw an interception. So I lost 7-0.

At least I got one win today. I need to take better care of the ball.

Retro bowl results 7/23/2022

I played as Jacksonville on extreme difficulty.

My first game was against Indianapolis. I ran the quarterback a lot. I threw an interception but, was close to the goal line when time ran out. I lost the game 13-8.

I resigned and than traded 32 year old 1 star defensive lineman Conor Hollins for a 3rd round pick in the draft.

I drafted Linebacker Malcom Abram with my first pick. He is 4 stars. I traded 2 star 36 year old quarterback Grady Winters for a second round pick in the draft. I drafted 3 and a half star quarterback Javelin Anger with my second pick. With my Third pick I drafted Linebacker A.J. Jacobs. He is 3 and a half stars. I drafted 1 star tight end Erik carter with my third pick. I drafted 2 star linebacker Richard Ojulari with my 4th pick.

I have a 2 and a half star defense and a 1 and a half star offense.

My second game was against Houston. I threw 3 interceptions. I was shutout 28-0. On the plus side I did like my quarterbacks throwing range.

My third game I won 16-8. I ran the quarterback a lot. He is faster than the quarterback I traded. My running back also had some good gains. And I did not turn the ball over.

For my fourth game I played Denver. I ran with the quarter back a lot. But, I made sure to throw a little. I also like to convert 2 point conversions by running the quarterback.

So anyway I scored on my first drive and ran in for the 2 point conversion with my quarterback. Denver took the ball down the field tried a field goal and missed. So it was 8-0 at half time. Or that might have been in the 3rd quarter when Denver missed the field goal. They got the ball at the start of the 3rd quarter.

On my second drive I scored a touch down and ran in the quarterback for a 2 point conversion. Denver did not have enough time to do anything. So I won the game. That’s 2 games in a row.

It sure helps when I don’t turn over the ball.

Retro bowl results 7/22/2022

Today I played as the New York J on extreme.

My first game was versus Miami. I lost the game 22-8. I was ahead 8-7 in the 4th quarter when I threw and interception. Then on my next drive I threw another interception. I ran the quarter back a lot in the game. And that worked. To bad I decided to throw the ball.

I traded 33 year old 2 star defensive lineman Marcell Bennett for a second round pick in the draft. I had to resign him. Then I traded him.

With my first pick I signed 4 star Linebacker D’andre Obada. With my second pick I signed 3 star defensive lineman Goolius Gaines. Perfect name for a defensive lineman. For my third pick I signed 3 star tight end Deon stills. With my third pick I signed 2 star defensive back Mykal vernon.

So I have a 1 and a half star offense and a 2 and a half star defense.

My Next game was against New England which I lost 29-11. I turned the ball over on downs in the red zone. I threw 3 interceptions. On the plus side Obada had an interception and my wide receiver Demario Labelle had a 38 yard reception for a touch down.

I signed 3 and a half star offensive lineman Iman Siemian. I got him in a trade from San Francisco.

My third game was against Buffalo. I lost the game 27-12. I threw an interception on my first drive. I threw about 3 interceptions. I need to take better care of the ball.

I got 4 and a half star Defensive back J.P. Stafford in a trade.

My 4th game was vs. Tampa bay. I threw an interception in the first quarter. I was able to tie the game up 20-20 in the last seconds so the game went to over time. In over time the ball went to Tampa Bay. And you can guess what happened.

My fifth game was against Atlanta. I threw an interception in the first quarter. Then Vernon hand an interception. My defense stopped Atlanta on another drive for a punt. And another time for a field goal. So I had thrown 2 interceptions. The score was 13-6. So I had the ball and threw another interception. Ouch.
