I learned how to play cheese. I was not great. I have never even won a game of cheese. I recorded several episodes of oatmeal breakfast plays a video game where I played chess on chess.com. I suppose I thought well if I play chess I will end up a big star. Never happened.

I have not played chess in a long time. As I am sure I have said before. I originally wanted to play chess on oatmeal breakfast plays a video game but, then I learned how to play Sudoku. And chess was thrown to the side.

I suppose I still want to play chess. So maybe I will get around to playing it sometime.

chess. I can’t wait. I don’t think I have ever won a game of chess. I don’t think I have. So if I ever win a game of chess it will be the first game of chess I have one.

I can’t wait until I learn enough chess so  that I can play my first chess game. I don’t know how long it will take me to win or lose my first chess game.

It wont be my first chess game but, it will be the first chess game that I will have an idea about what I am doing.

The king can movie one space in any direction. The king can’t jump over another piece.

The queen can move to any space in any direction. The queen cannot jump over another piece.

The rook can move to any square to the left, right, forward, backward. The rook cannot jump over another chess piece.

The bishop can movie diagonally to any square. As long as it lands on the same color square it started on. The bishop cannot jump over another chess piece.

The knight can move 2 spaces forward and then one space to the left or right. Or the knight can move one space forward and 2 spaces to the left or right. The knight is the only piece that can jump over other chess pieces.

And the pawn can move one square forward. On the paws first move it can move two squares. The pawn can’t jump over other pieces. And the pawn can’t move backward.

I wanted to write the chess pieces names and how they can move. So there are 6 chess pieces. At least i can remember that.
