I made a bicycle with inkscape

and it was fun. I always assumed that making a bicycle would be hard. Because of the spokes. All he did was duplicate the line and rotate it and presto I had spokes for a tire.

When I use inkscape and I want to select an object I keep pressing b and the draw Bezier curves tool comes up. I am so used to pressing b in blender.

Following this tutorial took me awhile. I got through it.

I know I want to learn inkscape and gimp. I don’t have enough time to learn both at the same time. So I thought I would focus on inkscape since I like that svg graphics can be scaled up without losing quality.

So hopefully I will get good enough with inkscape to make graphics for 2d games. And hopefully I will get good enough with godot to make games.

Today I played 3 games of retro bowl

on extreme. I try to play 3 games of retro bowl everyday. I limit myself to 3 games so that retro bowl does not take up all my time. I like to do other things besides play retro bowl.

So anyway I played 3 games of retro bowl as Washington. In the first game I did not do to badly. I maybe lost by a touchdown.

In the second game which I played was vs. Miami. I did not do so good. I threw interception after interception. It seemed like every pass I threw was a interception.

And in the third game which was vs. New York J I lost by 21-13. An early interception doomed me. And I had trouble making extra points.

So I lost all 3 games I played today. In the draft I picked a defensive lineman, a wide receiver, and a tight end.

The defensive lineman did make a sack in a game. And my defense made a stop to limit the opposing team to a 50 yard field goal on the first drive of the 3rd game which NYG missed.

There is always tomorrow.

I won another retro bowl game on extreme

I was playing as Detroit vs. Las Vegas. I won the game 21-20. The game was on 2 minute quarters.

The reason I won was because I did not throw interceptions. And Las Vega’s kicker could not make an extra point.

The game was 12-7 when I scored a touch down and went for 2 and made it. So then the score was 14-12.

Then Las Vegas scored a touch down. And then I scored the winning touch down. So all I needed to do was hit the extra point. And I did it.

There was not enough time for Las Vegas to score a touch down. So I won the game.

I signed and traded my defensive lineman before the draft. I drafted 2 defensive backs, a wide receiver. I drafted the tight end Shemar Homer in the 4th round and he was clutch. He would jump to catch passes.

The two games of retro bowl I played before I won a game today I did not do to badly. The Game before the winning game I lost in overtime. And the first game I played today I think I lost by a touchdown.

So altogether not a bad day of retro bowl play.

So it should be about my 14th retro bowl wins on extreme.

I hope one day that in retro bowl I can play defense.

I am working on a skid steer loader in blender

I have been watching a linkedin learning hard surface modeling tutorial which is showing me how to make the loader. I don’t know how long I have been working on the loader. Its been over a month I know that for sure. Or maybe I have not been working on it that long.

Anyway I am finished with the modeling of the loader. And now I am on the materials. Two things that I learned that surprised me.

One I can use a color from a picture. I loaded a picture of the loader into a blender image editor window and used the eye dropper tool from the color wheel you get when you want to adjust a color and blender. Prestor the color was on the model.

The second thing that surprised me was that I could easily copy a material from one part to another part. What I had to do was select the parts I wanted to put a certain material on and then select the part of the model that has the color I want. Then press control l. And select material from the menu that pops up. Presto the material appears on the parts.

So I learned 2 new cool techniques in blender today. I hope I remember them.

The skid steer loader model will probably be finished tomorrow.

I won another retro bowl game on extreme difficulty

I was playing as NYG vs. Dallas. I won 24-21. The game was set to 2 minute quarters. I had thrown an interception early in the game. I thought my chances of winning were over. But, later in the game my defense forced a Dallas Punt.

I was ahead at half time. And it was my game to win or lose at that point. I can’t remember when but, my tight end Garret Welsh had a long catch. Maybe it was 50 yards.

Dallas scored a touch down in the last seconds and scored on the two point conversion but, it was to late.

This is my 13th retro bowl win on extreme. Give or take a game. I did not think I was going to win a game today. The two game before the winning game I had thrown way to many interceptions.

Its been a week or so since I have won a retro bowl game so I am delighted with the victor.

I have been trying to play a video game called cube

Its an opensource first person shooter video game. So far I have not done so good.

I wanted to use the arrow leys on the keyboard to move around. I would use my right hand. That did not seen to work so good. Since I could not use the mouse.

So far I have figured out how to use the w,s,d,f keys to move backward, forward, left, and right. I use the mouse to move the camera around and the left mouse button to fire.

Then I was wondering why I could not see any enemies. So I looked at documentation and I have to select a map. The first map you start out in the game has no enemies.

Cube is the first first person shooter game I have ever tried to play. Wait a minute I did play Metroid for the gamecube. I think that was a first person shooter game.

I want to fly a kite this year

Its been years since i have flown one. Its been decades. I can’t remember the last time I flew a kite. I don’t even know how good I was at it. Probably not very good. I don’t ever remembering any kite tricks.

Maybe I can also learn some tricks with kites. That sounds fun.

How about I also make a kite. I don’t recall ever having made a kite. Maybe I have but, I don’t remember. Building a kite sounds fun.

I want to make a website

The only website I have had that I made myself was years ago on geocities. I did the html and css. It was only one page and I doubt anyone ever went to it. And I never did much work after I put it up.

There are other times I have tried to make a website but, never stuck with it. Maybe I have put up one or two other simple websites but, I don’t remember that much.

So I want to put up a website. Or at least learn javascript. I have been listen to an audio book called coders at work by Lee sobeil and he talked has talked to two programmers who used javascrpt so that had got me interested in learning javascript.

So I am going to learn javascript.

Won another retro bowl game on extreme

I played as Atlanta and the opponent was Pittsburg. I won the game 23-22. My defense did not make a stop but, I still won the game.

In the draft I chose a defensive lineman named Natrell Cohen as my first pick, then I chose a tight end named Harvey cook and then for the third pick it was a wide receiver named Dalton Soldier. What a cool name for a wide receiver.

So that is four wins on extreme this week. I think picking a tight end and a wide receiver in the draft seems to help. Having more options to throw to seems better. And its so fun to throw to the tight end.

So its 13 retro bowl wins on extreme. Oh, I did not throw any interceptions in the game. That always helps.

I won another retro bowl game on extreme

Its number 12. I was playing as NYG against New England. I scored the last touchdown in regulation to tie the game up. Then in overtime I got the ball and moved down the field to score the touchdown.

That is 3 retro bowl extreme wins this week.

The final score was 27-21.

My defensive lineman retired at 36 years of age so in the draft I drafted a defensive lineman, a wide receiver, and a tight end.

It sure helps to have all my receivers to be decent.

The tight end is one of my favorite receivers. So fun
