Wild Chocolate

I read a mental floss article about wild chocolate. I was surprised to learn that there is even a podcast about wild chocolate.

I had no idea that there was still wild chocolate in existence let alone that there was a podcast about it. And I also learn that people make chocolate with it.

And wild chocolate is supposed to tase different than the farm grown chocolate. I assumed chocolate is chocolate and it would all taste the same. I was wrong.

I think it would be hard but, fun to grow chocolate plants. Of course I would need a greenhouse. Maybe one day I will give growing chocolate a try. I am sure I would like the harvest if I was able to one.

The other day I was thinking about onion sets

We used to get white, red and yellow onion sets and plant them. I have never been a big fan of onions but, I did eat some of the onions we grew. And the onions were stronger smelling than the ones we got in the store.

I liked that I did not have to worry about if a seed would sprout or not. The onions were pretty much guaranteed to start growing.

I also remember planting onions from seed which took a lot longer to get an onion to maturity than from an onion set. At least I think it does. I am not sure how much longer though.

I think from seed I might have grown walla walla onions. I am not sure if any of the onions we planted from seed ever got big or not.

Anyway it would be nice to have a sandwich with fresh cut onion, lettuce, and tomato.

I will have to grown onions again.

So I am learning blender

better and I also want to learn how to code with python and blender. I don’t know exactly what I will do with but, it would allow me to build something with python. And I do need to build something with any programming language. I need a programming project. So hopefully I will build a blender add on.

I probably have written about the fact that I want to make soap before

But, I am writing about it again. I don’t know what scent I want to make it but, I think it would be so fun to make my own soap. Bar and liquid soap.

What are my favorite scents? I would say orange or lemon. So I could start with making soap with that scent I suppose. I don’t know really what scents I could use to make soap.

All I know is that hopefully next year I start making my own soap.

Yesterday I was following along

with a blender tutorial and it was about sculpting in blender. And since I have not used sculpting mode that much I though oh, sculpting mode does not work on the computer I am using. I was wrong.

After awhile I found out that I had to select the object I wanted to sculpt then go into sculpt mode. Sculpt mode was fun.

I need to practice more with it since there are so many brushes to use.

I have always wanted to make a program with rebol

I learned about rebol years ago from I don’t know where. I am sure I followed a tutorial or two and then that was that for rebol. I always think it so cool that its so small a download and I always wanted to make a program with it but, to this point have not.

I don’t know if I ever will because I want to get better at python so I can use it with blender. And I want to learn c so that I can make things with Raspberry pi and Ardunio, and I want to learn HTML, css, and javascript so I can learn how to be an ethical hacker.

And I have wanted to do those things for years and well I am no expert with those languages and have not done much with them either.

So rebol is last on my list. So I probably will never get to learning it but, I do want to make something with it maybe someday.

Today I worked more on the typing game tutorial I

said I was going to go through. I followed along and got the game to work. Well I made it through one video of the tutorial. Now all I have to do is finish watching the last 3.

To me it seems that I will never learn Godot good enough so that I will ever be able to design and make my own video games.

I hope I prove myself wrong.
