I don’t know if I will get that done but, it seems like it would be fun.
I watched some of a video about making music with pharo where I learned about supercollider.
And I watched a minute or so of a video about making music with pharo.
And I am sure there is a way to make music with machine learning.
So hopefully I will make something. It probably won’t be good but, it will be something new for me to learn .
I had been using pharo 10. Well I wanted to use pharo 10 but, I have not used it very much. I have probably been using pharo since it came out. And I still have not made my own programs with it.
I so want to be good at using pharo. I don’t know if I ever will but, who knows. I will certainly have to work a lot more in it and try to make something. Maybe I will be able to. I don’t know. I will see.
I started reading a long time ago but, have not finished it yet. And I want to finish reading it so that I can go on to reading other pharo books.
And it would be nice to finally make something with pharo this year. I don’t know if that will happen but, there is always hope. I hope. I will keep trying to design and make a program. And maybe one day it will actually happen.
Awhile ago on this blog I said I was watching pharo mooc. Then I stopped watching it. And a few days ago I started watching it again. And finally made it through the first week. I have not done any of the challenges though. And I want to try those.
At least I watched all the videos for the first week. Now on to week 2.
game from pharo by example. And it got me to thinking that the times that I have read pharo by example before I read the book and then that is it.
I was watching a video the other day by blender guru where he was talking about learning blender. He was talking about making a project with new skills you learn.
And I never do that with pharo. I follow along in a book but, never get a project of my own to make.
And to me making my own pharo project would be fun. I would not have to follow what some else does.
So I want to start my own pharo project.
Oh, and today I used pharo 10 for the first time.
Its hard to believe that I have used pharo since it first came out and I still have not made my own project with it. Pharo came out years ago.
This year I am going to make my own project with pharo. I hope.
project that I put on github yesterday. So now I can commit and push pharo projects to git hub and also clone them. I wish it were easy to come up with ideas for programs I want to write.
I remember years ago I found squeak on the internet and was so excited to build programs with squeak. It never happened.
Then I switched to pharo. And wanted to write a lot of programs with pharo. That has not happened yet.
Maybe I think the the programs will design and code themselves. It would be nice. Programming does not work that way.
project to github with iceberg. I not think I would ever be able to upload any of my pharo code to github. I am glad I was wrong. Now all I have to do is make lots of projects with pharo. For me that is easy to write and hard to do.
Before iceberg pharo had monticello. And with monticello I uploaded exactly one project to squeak source. Which was the lights out game from pharo by example 5. I had dreams of writing mounts of code in pharo and uploading that code to squeaksource. It never happened.
Hopefully pharo and github will be different.
For years I have wanted to make something with pharo but, it never happens. This is going to be the year I make something with it. I hope. I am not sure why I like pharo so much. But, for some reason I do.
a programming using pharo. I first started out using squeak then I switched to pharo. I have probably been using some version of smalltalk for about 15 years. And I have not made anything that anyone would want to use.
I did solve a project euler problem using pharo but, that is about all. Well for 2022 I want to make a program with pharo because I have always wanted to get good at pharo. I hope I get that done.
read about pharo. I want to read them all. The only problem is that I don’t have time to read them all. So much fun things to learn about pharo. I am going to be a pharo programming. I am going to be a pharo programmer. I am going to be a pharo programmer. I said it 3 times. Now its bound to happen. RIght.
