A few days ago I finished reading first to the front by

Lorissa Rinehart. The book is about a female war reporter named Dickey Chapelle. I had never even heard of her before I read the book.

I thought she did a lot of interesting things in her life.

In the book I learned about a documentary about a PBS documentary about Dickey called Behind the Pearl Earrings. I had no idea there was even a documentary about her.

Yesterday I watched 16 minutes of the documentary. I hope to watch the who documentary soon.

What interested me about The book and Dickey was that she did some reporting during world war II. And I am interested in world war II so I read the book.

I learned about KolibriOs a few days ago

I think I saw it on a post on stack overflow. I believe I was looking up assemblers that I could use online on a website.

I have not installed kolibriOs but, I hope someday I remember to try it.

I do have puppy linux on two of my computer but, I am sure that they don’t boot up as fast as this operating system would.

Video game sounds

I watched a video about how to add sounds in godot. I am not sure who made the video but, I want to use the website to make some sounds for video games. Its called jsfxr.

I am almost finished with operation thumbtack. Well, maybe not finished but, at least it came be played.

Its hard to believe that I will ever get good at godot but, I want to keep trying since one of the reasons I wanted to use a computer was so that I could make video games. That was about 20 years ago.

Its never to late to start making video games as I see it.

Years ago I got a little booklet on how to make soda

In the booklet it showed how to make soda with a tank of Co2. I probably never read the entire booklet even though it was maybe not more than 30 pages long.

And I never got around to making my own soda. And I am sure making my own soda would have been a fun project. I wonder what flavors I could have come up with.

Anyway this year I want to make my own soda. Oh, I know what else I was thinking about. My favorite soda flavor is root beer. I also like root beer popsicles.

And since I was working on modeling an ice cream cone in blender yesterday that got me wondering is there root beer ice cream? I will have to look it up. Or how about root beer yogurt. Yummy.

I found a video of someone making root beer ice cream. Not that I searched to hard. I never usually go past the first page of search results.

AI powered tools

I read a fast company article about AI powered tools. I had heard of ChatGpt and Dall-E but, have yet to try those tools. I hope to use them someday.

I had not heard of Autodraw , or Avia. Avia is an AI tool that creates music. So I have got to try it. Maybe it will help me to write music that people will listen to. Or at least be fun to see what kind of music I can make with it.

I had also not heard of AI dungeon which creates text basket games.

So I have not tried any of the tools yet though hopefully someday I will give them all a try. AI sure looks fun.

Three websites where I like to take quizzes

At free wheat I answer multiplication quiz. You know 5 * 5 and then I put the answer in the text field and submit. For every answer I get right I donate 1 grain of rice.

At bean bean I like to take the cell functions quiz. I have to get 21 answers right without a mistake to be able to donate 21 beans.

And at free rice I like to take the Spanish language quiz. For every answer I get right I donate 10 grains of rice.

I have know about free rice for years but, have only within the past year or two used it on a regular basis. I have over 180,000 grains of rice donated. Which is good enough for 3,053 on the leader board.

I would like to get over a million donated. I don’t think I will ever be able to reach the number one position on the leader board at 63 million. That would be cool though.

I learning about and started using free wheat and bean bean this year.

I like that I can play quizzes and donate food to people who need it at the same time.

I can’t wait to try A.I to write blender python scripts

I want to learn how to write python scripts for blender. Writing python scripts for blender is the main reason I want to learn python. Well as well as using python for machine learning.

So I saw about using open ai new a.i. to write blender scrips. And I think its so cool that I can put on prompts and have the a.i. write a python script that I can then run in blender. I still want to learn coding though.

There is an add-on for blender that lets me sign in to the a.i. and then use it from within blender.

I have not tried the open a.i. tool yet but, someday I hope to because it looks so cool and fun. I wonder what prompts I could think up. So I hope I don’t forget about this tool and never use it. Or I could forget about the tool.

I hope I don’t.

Dream ai looks fun

I learned about dream.ai from a mit newsletter I read. All I have to do is put in some text, select an Art Style and press create and in about 30 seconds artwork appears.

I wish I could make art that quick with blender, gimp, krita, and inskcape. For that matter I wish I could make my own art with any of those programs. I want to get so much better making art on a computer.

And I also want to get better drawing art on paper. Though the problem I have with paper is that I worry about wasting paper.

Busy simulator

I learned about busy simulator from the mit download newsletter. I don’t think I will have any need for it but, I want to remember it.

Of course when I am at my computer I am always busying doing something important. Ok, that might not be exactly true so someday I may need to use the busy simulator.
