in blender. For it I am following along with a tutorial. Mainly thought It I want to get a blender project finished. However one computer I use can run blender 4.2 and the other computer I am on can only run blender 2.83. So I either have to use blender 2.83 for all my projects or have 2 different projects.

I think the UI for blender 2.8 and up is a lot better than the blender UI before blender 2.8. I started using blender at 2.42 and I look at that version now and am glad for the new blender UI. Not that I used blender 2.42 much.

Thinking about how long I have been using blender makes me think I could be a pro at using blender by now. So I better get better at using blender.

I don’t think I have finished a vehicle yet in blender. I have started several but, never finished one of them. At one time I wanted to model as many cars as I could. That has not happened yet.

Well what I would call finished. I suppose I could spend years tweaking it. Its more fun than I thought to work on my own projects in blender. I want to get the cushman finished so I can work on other projects. With the cushman I also want to get the dimensions right. I did not think about dimensions when I started the project. So its much to big.

I also thought what else besides world war 2 items I want to model. I thought that old west is also something I like and I also like the 1970s. So maybe 1970s motorcycles. Learning more towards dirt bikes. I am not much of a fan of road motorcycles. Dirt bikes look much cooler to me.

I am anxious to get the cushman modeled, material, and rendered. Maybe I could use godot to put the cuahman in a video game. That would be fun. If only I could make a video game. So much I want to do. I wish there were more hours in a day.

I know someday I will get it down. At least I am having fun working on it. And I think I am learning something be modeling it.

I can’t wait to see what it looks like when its finished and then I can start on another project.

And I learned about a now defunct truck manufacturer called Federal. And I thought their world war 2 cabover trucks looked cool.

There are so many world war 2 things I can model. Trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, mugs.

The other day I started modeling a handle less world war 2 coffee mug. I could not find a tutorial on how to model it so I guess I will have to figure it out on my own. Ha ha.

Even if I never get many world war 2 things modeled in blender I enjoy looking at different world war 2 things.

This year I want to focus on learning to use blender better. I do still want to learn how to make video games but, I want to learn how to make 3d and 2d models in blender more.

Or do I. I suppose I want to make 3d models so that I can use them in games I make. And I do have a lot of fun working on 3d models in blender even though I have not gotten much finished this year. I don’t think I have finished a model in blender this year.

I also think using godot to make other types of software would be fun. Its just that I only have so much time in a day and right now I want to spend that time making models in blender.

I am sure I will get it completed eventually. I hope. I do enjoy trying to figure out what the parts look like that are hard for me to see. I did not think I would enjoy that so much. But, since I never modeled my own motorcycle how would I have know.

Its a lot easier following a tutorial since the tutorial tells me what to model but, its more fun modeling on my own challenging myself to figure out what I need to model and how to model it on my own.

Today I looked at pictures of world war 2 cab over tucks. I hope to make a 3d model of one eventually.
