I had montana 94 for the sega genesis

This was a game I could beat the computer easily. It was less my skill than the fact that it was easy to beat the game. I liked to play as the Cleveland Browns. They were a good team at the time. One of the top teams in the AFC.

I am not sure if it was this game of NFL 95. But, I liked to trade or play as Mel Grey. Even when a player tried to tackle him he could not be stopped. I could score over 100 points in the first 6 minutes of the game.

On defense I liked to play a 4-3 and blitz a middle linebacker on every play. And it seemed like on every play I could get a sack.

On kick offs I liked to kick it to the sideline and get the computer trapped inside the 5 or 10 yard line.

The game was so easy to beat that it made me looked like a good video game player. Which back then made me feel good.

The game was also amazing that when I played Joe Montana I would here Montana back to pass  or was it back to pass.

They don’t make sports games like they used to. And I think that is a good thing. As I like a game to challenge me.

I remember that I had one more

basketball video game for the Sega genesis. I believe I first read about it in Sega visions magazine. I wish I could remember the name of the video game. But, I can’t. All I remember is that it did not have real players from the NBA. And that I probably got it because the graphics were supposed to be great.

I do remember enjoying to play the game. I also think the players got tired the longer they were in the game. And I liked to dunk the basketball in the game. Or I liked to she how many different ways the players could dunk a basketball.

So much of my video gaming history that I don’t remember. Too bad.

I cant remember which basketball game

I had bulls vs, Lakers and the NBA playoffs or Bulls vs. Blazers and the NBA playoffs. Or did I have both. I liked basketball a lot. i don’t remember much about the games. I don’t even know how many games were in a season? Could you win a championship? I know at around that time the Indiana packers was my favorite teen. So I must have played as the packers a lot in the game.

I don’t remember if I was any good. I wish I could remember details. I don’t remember. I wish I had kept a diary of my video game playing. I might be surprised by what I played or how good or bad I was at playing the games.

I know I thought the graphics for the basketball games looked so good. I am sure in comparison to the games now they don’t look so good. At that time they looked super good.

I know and so do you read the blog post

That my first Sega Genesis game was sonic the hedge hog. Sonic is adorable. I was never able to get past the 3rd level. The water level. I always drowned. I did get past the 3rd level with a cheat code.

I don’t remember how I discovered the cheat code. Did I discover it myself by accidentally pushing buttons. Maybe. I am a video game player who’s lack of talent is made for cheat codes.

I don’t remember the second Sega genesis game I got. I don’t even remember all the games I had for the console.

One game I had was Lakers vs. Celtics and then NBA playoffs. I remember the Lakers vs. Celtics part. So I did a search on the internet and saw the name also included and the NBA playoffs.

That game was fun to play. It was always fun to see the player dunk the basketball. And to see the different way that a player could dunk the basketball. I don’t remember much about the game. I do remember playing it.

Was I good at playing it. I doubt it. So much fun to play. And it was a giant step up in graphics from double dribble for the NES.

I don’t if I have already written about this

If I have I am sure it does not mater. I used to watch sports a lot and listen to a lot of sports on the radio. But, you know I like sports video games better than the real sports.

Sure its not real. Though it feels that way to me. Sports video games a relaxing. They are fun. In a sports video game I can have my running back rush for 200 yards in a game. I can have a player get a lot of rebounds or score a lot of points or get a lot of assists it its basketball.  Or I can drive recklessly if its a car racing game.

When I watch sports I feel worse at the end of the game then when I started watching the game. When I play a sports video game I feel better after playing the game then when I started playing the game. So fun. So I like sports video games more than the real sports game.

I only remember driving my RC

cars once in awhile. I suppose I did not drive them that much because of the expense of buying the batteries. I don’t know how long the batteries lasted. It could not have been that long.

I remember I had the orange and while RC buggy; my first RC, I also had a white buggy, and a green and black buggy. I also had a john Deere tractor RC.

The john Deer was only good for driving on the carpet. I don’t remember driving it much.

I don’t know why but, I think most of those RC vehicles ended up in pieces. I must have been because I like to take things apart. Getting things back together has always been a problem for me.

Taking a ting apart with a crew driver is easy. Using that screw driver to put the thing back together is a littler harder. I don’t think I drove them enough to wreck them. I wish I remembered how often I drove them.

And I wish I had a race track to drive them around. I mainly only drove them in straight lines. I think. And I also wish I had not taken most of them apart. I wish they still worked so I could drive them now.

Today I want to write about one of

my other hobbies. And that is RC cars. I don’t know if I have already written about them. If I have I will write about them again.

I remember my first RC car. It was small. A buggy type RC car. It took batteries in the car an the transmitter. At least I think it was my first RC car. Maybe it was the first RC car that we had that I considered my own.

I remember getting it and bringing it home. I am sure I drove it that first day. Though I am not sure that I drove it much after that.

And I thought about RC cars. When I was young I used to listen to a lot of sports talk radio and watch sports on TV. I was obsessed. I worried about trades, and how my favorite teen was doing. Looking back it did not make my life that much fun.

I though I wish I had spent all that time on driving RC cars and homework. I don’t know why I did what I did when I was younger. I needed to ask myself are you enjoying this instead of doing the same things over and over again.

I am sure I would have much more fun driving my RC car around than listening to the radio or watching TV. And I would have been learning a useful skill. Who knows if I had practiced everyday I might be able to drive an RC car now.

My thinking must have been back then that if you were not good at a thing the first time you tried it then why bother. Because you were never going to get good at it. I am not sure that is the case now.

Even if I would never have been the best drive I could have gotten better by lost of practice. And I would have had a lot of fun along the way. Live and learn.

The next console I got after I had had

the Nintendo entertainment system for several years was the Sega Genesis. I am not sure that that console was the one that I wanted to get. I might have wanted to get a super Nintendo. And the Sega Genesis was the only console in stock.

I have no idea why I wanted to get a the Sega Genesis. I must have liked the 16 bit graphics. And the 3 button controller. I wish I could remember.

I do remember that the console came with a controller and song the hedge hog video game. And also the games were still on cartridges.

For 8 bot NES to 16 bit Sega genesis. I thought the graphics for video games could never get any better than the 16 bit graphics. They were amazing back then compared to the NES.

I don’t know how I got interested in video

games. Maybe I got interesting in video gaming because i had a Atari 2600. Why did I enjoy playing video games? I don’t know. Why did I give up playing video games? I don’t know.  I suppose I thought I had better things to do than play video games. I never thought about the why I got interested in video games, and why I stopped playing video games. and then started playing video games again.
