It was fun. I want to get better at lighting. At least I have made one project on my own with blender this year. I hope to make more models. Since I will only get better if I use blender and make my own projects.
I am using blender 3.6. And I went to see if I could smooth the model. And realized that shade smooth and shade flat are not in the right click context menu anymore. They are in the face menu.
I have changed my mind. Well maybe I have not. I want to learn to model animals and plants. Since I like them better than cars. Well I used to wish I knew all the models of cars I saw on the road. That never happened. I still can’t identify cars I see on the road by sight.
Now I would rather get to know the names of plants and animals. Though I still want to model cars in blender. So maybe I want to model, cars, plants, animals.
Well I do know I want to model something in blender so I need to get started.
I don’t know if I have written this before but, I probably have. I will write it again. And I also want to grow fruit tress which I have never done.
My favorite fruit is oranges. Its been awhile since I have eaten an orange.
It will be exciting to see if I am any good at growing fruit trees. I will see.
I have been using Leonardo.ai for at least a month to make images from text I type in. And wow, is it fun. I also like that I get 150 tokens a day for free.
I wish I could create great images of whatever I wanted to myself but, right now its pretty cool to think up a design, then figure out what text to type to have a website create the design for me. Neat. So much fun.
Not to make it sound like I learned it before because I have not. But, if I want to be an ethical hacker I figure they would be good things to know.
I don’t know if I will ever become an ethical hacker but, its something that I am interested in. I want to see if I can find a bug, write a bug report.
I will keep trying to program something. Whether I will make anything or do anything with programming I don’t know right now.
and I still have not done much programming with python. Yesterday I read about data visualization and machine learning on kaggle.
So this year I have not wrote any of my own programming code. I am sure at the beginning of the year I wanted to write code. That has not happened yet. There are still about 6 months left in the year. So Who knows I could still write some code this year.
Before if you said to me layer mask I was not sure what was meant by that. Let me see if I can define what a layer mask is. Its showing or hiding different parts of two different layers by painting back to hid and white to make visible.
So I have a better understanding of what layer masks are. I don’t know what I would use them for yet but, I am sure I will think of something.
And then used the path tool on a project I was working on. I am not sure if I had ever used gimps path tool before.
At least I know that I never used the path tool on a project that I made with Gimp. So now I have used the path tool in a project.
A few days ago I don’t think I was aware that gimp had a path tool like inkscape.
I hope I keep learning about gimp.
I am not sure whether I want to learn Krita or gimp. For now I will try to learn gimp better. Years ago I read a book about gimp but, never have done much with the program but, now I want to learn how to use it better.
Also I hope to learn how to use blender grease pencil also. Maybe I could use Grease pencil to do a lot of things that gimp can do. Maybe I could use grease pencil instead of gimp. I don’t know.
All I know is that I want to get learning. Get to be an expert at using a program.
I am sure I have written this before but, one of the reasons I want to learn python is so that I can use it with blender. I am not sure what I will make yet but, I am sure someday I will thing of something.
