What am I going to write about today?

And does it matter? Probably not. I will start writing and see if anything comes to mind.

When I read a story about Richard Linklater in a magazine that at one time he watched over 700+ movies over a two years or was it a year. I thought that was a feat I could manage.

It would be fun to read a book a day for a year. Unless those books are short there is no way I could read a book a day for a year. I dead read about a woman who read a book a day for a year plus. So people do do that.

One thing I know for certain is that I could watch a movie everyday for a year. I have not yet watched a movie a day for a year. I still want to do that. I hope next year I will watch a movie a day for a year or two years.

I want to set OatmealBreakfast basketball

on an island with the basketball hope on a lighthouse. I know that much. I am sure I have said that much in another blog post about the game. I also want the play to be one on one. The games could be a certain about of time or they could be to 21 points or some other amount of points.

SO the game is on an island with a basketball court next to a lighthouse, first player to 30 wins, the games are 1 0n 1, take place at night, maybe there can be a season of 10 games, and playoffs, and a world championship. I will think about OatmealBreakfast Basketball more.

I have read a few books

about honey bees and beekeeping. And I hope to become a beekeeper. Though I don’t know if I will be a good beekeeper. There is so much to remember. I think it would be fun to take a chair and put it next to the beehives and watch the honey bees fly out and in to their hive all day.

But, if I could not handle beekeeping it makes me feel better that at least I could build houses for other bees. And at least I could have other bees in my garden.

Board games

When I was younger I used to play board games. I remember 3 of the board games I play. Candy land was one. I don’t remember much about it.

Clue was the next board game I remember playing. I remember it has to do with solving a mystery.

And the 3rd board game I remember playing is Monopoly. I think its the board game I played the most. I don’t know if I was any good at it or not. I probably was not. I have never played a monopoly video game.

There you have the 3 board games I remember playing. One board game I want to play is scrabble. I am not the best speller. So that might be a minus in terms of playing scrabble.

There are video games I wish I could play

As you know I enjoy playing sports video games. So I was thinking about what video games I wish I had played. I wish I could play a Rugby video game. I don’t know much about the rules of the game. So I wold have to learn the rules to play a Rugby game.

I also think it would be fun to play a cricket video game. Cricket is another sport I no almost nothing about so again I would have to learn some of the rules.

I wish I had gotten a hockey video game for the Nintendo game cube. And also a golf video game. I think tiger woods by electronic arts was a big golf game when the game cube was out.

What other games so I wish to play. I think dead to right retribution is one game. That;s all I can think of right now. Maybe I will think about it and come up with some more video games.

Sudoku

For years I wanted to learn how to play Sudoku. I was sure it would take years to learn all the rules of how to play.

It was not has hard as I thought it would be to learn how to play. And it was a lot more fun to play than I thought it would be.

I watched two Sudoku tutorial videos. That was all I needed to learn how to play Sudoku.

After watching the first video I tried to play Sudoku and I still had no clue. Then the next day I was the other Sudoku tutorial video. And it sunk in.

I was off and running. I have solved five Sudoku puzzles in about 14 days time. I play about 10 minutes of Sudoku a day.

I am sure it would be fun playing Sudoku on paper. I play Sudoku on my computer. So fun.

So its good that I am playing video games everyday now. Sudoku is so fun. I want to write a song about Sudoku. I want that song to be my next song.

The other day I remembered another

Nintendo entertainment system video game that I had that I have not written about. I was maybe WWF wrestlemania. When I first played the game I thought wow, the graphics are realistic.

I remember one of the game characters was hulk Hogan. I think Andre the giant was also a character.

I doubt I was any good at the game. I wish I could remember more about that game. I am sure I enjoyed playing it. That is for sure.

Astronomy

I also like astronomy. I have probably said that already. Last year I read about book about how starts, and planets are formed. The book also talked about exoplanets.

Right now I don’t know much about astronomy. Oh, this year I read a book about micrometeorites. Which I had never heard about before I saw the book. I don’t think I want to put in the work to search for micrometeorites. But, I think they are fascinating

I find it interesting to  read about exoplanets. Though I am not sure if I would do good traveling in outer space. On the other hand how cool would it be to travel to another planet and live on it for the rest of my life. Or how over long I want to live on it.

I think that star gazing would be fun. One thing I want to do is build my own telescope. Though I many never build it. Its something I think about doing.

I wish I could find an exoplanet and have it named after me. That will never happen.

I also think the ocean is just as amazing as outer space. And like outer space I want to learn more about the ocean. I am not sure I want to sail on the ocean either. I don’t know how I would do away from land.

Bees and plants

I like bees and plants. When I was younger I was not much into bees or plants. Then I got into plants and now I am also into bees. I had never given bees much thought. I never knew that there were over 20, 000 species of bees in the world.

For years the only type of bees I thought existed in was honey bees and bumble bees. I was so wrong. And I am glad I was. Maybe if I write about bees and plants it will help me remember more of what i read.

I knew bees collects nectar and pollen. I was surprised to learn that bees also collected propolis. Which if I remember right is a sticky substance that the bees collect from certain plants. Its used to seal up their hive.

And I don’t think I thought about bees needing water either. The do need water. Once I learned that I always keep forgetting that fact.

I never even considered how long bees might live. With honey bees they can live about 6 weeks during the busy season. And several months in winter. If you had asked me how long bees lived before I knew anything about bees I wonder how long I would have said bees lives. Would I have said years.

Its also surprised me that worker honey bees are female. The males are called drones, and the queen bee lays the eggs. It took me awhile before i could remember the words worker, drone and queen.

I have never kept honey bee hives. I do hope to one day. I hope I will be up to it.

Jumping rope

Another thing that I can do now that i never thought I could was jumping rope. I wonder if I can jump rope and juggle at the same time? Probably not. I wonder if I can jump rope and ride a unicycle? I wonder if I can even ride a unicycle?

I like jumping rope because all I need is a jump rope and myself. I don’t need to buy expensive equipment. I don’t need to spend years learning how to jump rope. I don’t have to spend hours jumping rope.

And ask I said I never thought I could jump rope. And now I can. I am not great at it. Its like juggling. I am not great at it but, I enjoy it.
