language I tried. I read about it on a website and so I thought I want to try it. The language is called open object Rexx
I installed it on my computer. Then I downloaded documentation. And I read a few pages of documentation. I probably worked with open object Rexx for about a week and then never used it again.
I am sure it would have been fun to make a program in open object rexx. I never made one. Maybe one day I will. Though I doubt it.
be an expert an expert at every programming language that has ever existed. Even though there is no way I would ever figure out how to install those languages on my computer. Or even have enough time to wrote code in all those languages.
It seemed so fun to want to try every programming language. I came up significantly short of my goal of trying every programming language. Maybe I tried ten. And in those I got as far as making a program that said hello world.
The whole point of learn to program was so I could become a star on github. And I can’t do that if I only know how to make a program that prints hello world to the console. OK, I did not want to program so I could be star on github.
I did want to make my own programs that one day a person might use. That is going to be my goal. I want to make a program that one day one person will use. I only need one person to use a program that I create.
All I need is to create a program. Its a tough task and I probably wont do it but, it will make me feel good for the rest of the day. Then tomorrow I will feel bad because I know in my heart that no one will ever use a program I create. And I can’t blame them. I wouldn’t either.
How to design programs, second edition. I want to make my way through the entire book. I have not read the book in some time. If I do ever start reading it again I might have to start from the beginning. Or maybe I remember what I already learned from the book. Or I could take a quick look through what I already read as a refresher.
using Dr Racket is fun. I enjoyed the exercises I did. Most of the time when I first looked at an exercises I had no idea how to solve it. So I would sleep on it. And most of the time the next day or two I would have the answer. That is so fun solving a problem that I never thought I could solve.
Maybe one day I will read thought the entire book. If I never finish it at least I read some of the book. I hope to make my own programs with DR racket. Or maybe I won’t. Who knows?
Writing tests in Dr. scheme and have them pass is also fun. Yes, indeed.
machine learning with python or pharo, or javascript, or java. I thought it would be fun to have the computer come up with the lyrics to my songs or even the notes to my songs.
I have not done much machine learning programming yet and I may never. It is one thing I want to do with programming though. It seems so fun. I don’t know if am capable of doing it though. I hope I am. Wish me luck. Or don’t. It does not matter to me.
I want to used Kaggle to learn and program machine learning programs and enter competitions. I leaned about the website from machine learning for dummies.
learn Html, css, and javascipt so I can put up a website. I have made a simple website and put it up on geocities a long time ago. But, now all I have is blogs. And I want to learn to code my own website.
When I got a computer I wanted to learn to program so that is what I am going to do. SO I figured I might as well start with HTML, CSS, And Javascript. I don’t go to that may websites but, I am going to make a website.
It takes me year to do things. It took me years to make music with Lmms. It took me years to make art with blender. And it has taken me years to make programs. At least I keep at things.
is a game I had for the Nintendo game cube. At that time I liked watching college football on television.
My favorite college football team was Notre Dame fighting Irish. I had watched then since they days of Rick Mirer. On Saturdays during football season I would be sitting in front of the TV cheering on the fighting Irish. At least for the games that I could get on TV.
I took it a little to seriously. It makes no sense to me now. Why get so upset if my favorite team is losing. Its only a game. But, that is what I did. I don’t do it now.
So my favorite team to play in NCAA 2003 was as the fighting Irish. I liked to run the ball and run the option because I was not good at throwing the ball.
On defense I was not good. I don’t think I was any good on defense. I can’t remember. But, it was fun playing as my favorite tea. And I did enjoy running the option. So fun. And I also like to run the quarter back if I could. I was that afraid of passing.
I also liked listening to the play by play of the game. Playing a football video games is a lot more fun than watching football on television.
I also liked to throw screen passes and throw fly patters when I passed the ball. I need to get better at passing the football. I will. I will.
Its a shame that EA does not make NCAA football anymore.
for years and then I never do anything. What I need to do is get something finished even if its not good. If I want to make programs I have got to make programs.
If I don’t program how can I be a programmer. Programmers design and write computer code. And that is what I want to do. So now I have got to take action and make a program. I can do it I hope. I am sure this is not the first post where I have written that I want to program but, never program.
A lot of random words because I can’t figure out what to write. I read in an article about Richard LinkLater that said that he watched a movie a day for a year. I think that is what it was.
I thought how great. I want to watch a movie a day for a year. Now I am not sure I like movies anymore.
I wonder if I could play a new video game every day for a year. Or what about if I beat a different video game every week for a year. I think my knowledge of video games is limited.
And if I played 52 games a year then I would have played a lot of video games. Sounds fun.
cube. I liked the play by play. I also like that players could get injured. I liked that I could create my own plays and players. I liked the mini games.
My favorite team to play as was the Cleveland Browns. One play I remember is when my defense end hit Mark Brunell and injured him. Mark Brunell was out of 7 weeks ad I remember it.
I also liked to play as the San Francisco 49ers. Terrell Owens was also good for a catch on 3rd down. I think he was the only player on the 49ers who I could complete a pass to.
In short i was not good at passing the ball. I had no confidence passing the ball. I was OK at running the ball. It was my favorite thing to do on offense.
I was not good on defense. I liked to blitz to much and play my corners tight to the receivers. I was able to get some interceptions.
My favorite Corner back was Allen Rossum. I always traded for him. I got a lot of interceptions with him. And I liked to use him as a kick and punt returner I think.
I thought madden 2003 was a good game. I thought it was better than the football games for NES and Atari 2600.
cube. Basketball is my favorite sport. I think. I did read a book about James Naismith. It was good. I like video game basketball more than I like watching the real game on TV.
NBA Live is one of the first games I got for the game cube. I got frustrate with the game because it was hard to keep the score of the game low like a Real NBA game. It was not that hard to give up over 120 points ore more.
And also it was to easy to dunk. Or get dunked on. My favorite time to play as was the Orlando magic with Tracy McGrady. He was great at dunking in the game. When I need a shot I gave the ball to him and then tried to go into the basket and dunk the ball.
I was not very good at the game. If I could I wold want to be great on the boards and defending, blocking shots. I would rather be great on defense than offense.
Another of my favorite players in the games Antawn Jamison, Danny Ferry. I liked to shoot 3’s with Danny Ferry.
NBA Live 2003 is the newest basketball game I have played. i like to watched NBA 2k league on twitch.TV. I also like to shot baskets at a hoop outside. I never played organized basketball though. That’s fine with me. Wait I did play organized basketball for a year in a league.
I was terrible. I had no idea what I was doing out there. All I wanted was a pair of knee pads. I had no idea what man to man defense was. I don’t think I ever made a basket. I was not good.
I am sure I am better playing video game basketball. That is fine with me.
